[DRAFT] Install the Han-Tak app on Android
Bring your phone into your protected home.
This guide is a draft. The Han-Tak app is in testing; these steps will change.
Before you start
You need an Android phone and a HomeHub that is already set up.
Install and pair
- Install the Han-Tak app. [WHERE TO GET THE APP]
- Open it and choose Pair with my HomeHub.
- Scan the code shown on your HomeHub’s screen in the app on another family phone, or in The Watch.
When pairing is done, The Lamp shows: Your home is illuminated.
If a child removes the app
The app cannot stop a determined child from removing it. If that happens, your HomeHub tells you. Han-Tak Lantern, our future operating system, exists to close that gap.
